Mapy 07 had their 3 days and 2 nights cultural dance training at Sports Compleks, Bkt Kiara. and 7 September was our Ummie’s birthday ! Happy Birthday Ummie !

Malaysia is such a thriving country, often considered a role model by its Asian neighbours for its economic and political stability, multiracial harmony and steady progress, August 31, 2007 marks the 50th year of the country’s independece from British rule and the day Malaya’s 1st Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj’s triumphant shouts of “Merdeka !” resonated throughout the nation.

In fact, this year is Malaysia-Japan Friendship Year 2007. Japan established diplomatic relations with Malaysia just after the independence of Malaysia on August 31, 1957. Mapy 2007 has finally finished the Pre Departure Training 1 on 31st July. We are very honoured to have Mdm. Ashkiah to be our National Leader for the 34th SSEAYP programme. Besides, the committee chart has been chosen too, we have Safuwan and Hanni as our YL and AYL. Congrats peepz!
